🇬🇧 GovAI has several researcher positions open: fellow, scholar, and assistant. Location: London, but open to remote. Salary for fellows: £80,000–£100,000. 🇺🇸 Institute for Progress is hiring fellows/senior fellows in Emerging Technology. Location: Washington, DC. IFP is among the best US-based think tanks doing AI policy work. https://ifp.org/come-work-with-ifp/ 

🇬🇧 ERA Cambridge is hiring for several positions ranging from research leads to operation and program managers. They have one of the best AI policy training programs out there. Location: Cambridge, UK or remote. Salary (AI governance lead): £62,000 pro rata. https://erafellowship.org/team 

🇬🇧 Demos is hiring a Senior Researcher on Digital Policy. They’re a relevant UK think tank in the AI governance space. Location: London. Salary: £33,530–£37,315. https://demos.co.uk/senior-researcher/  🚨 Deadline Jan 26!

🇪🇺 The Future Society is hiring an Events and Community Manager. The new hire will run the amazing annual Athens Roundtable, one of the best convenings in the AI governance space. Location: remote. Salary: $104,600–$113,800. https://thefuturesociety.org/work-with-us/ 

🇬🇧 The UK Department for Science, Innovation, and Technology is hiring an AI Risk Advisor. Location: London or other UK cities. Salary: £40,415–£48,620. https://bit.ly/4g8pGEF

🇬🇧 The Future Impact Group fellowship is open. It’s a part-time program where you work on a research project with a top researcher in AI governance, including Oxford professors, for 3 months. https://futureimpact.group/fellowship 

🌐 The PIBBSS fellowship is open. It’s aimed at PhD students interested in cooperative AI from varied backgrounds such as philosophy, engineering, math. Salary: $3,000/month for 3 months. Location: US or UK, TBD. https://pibbss.ai/fellowship/ 🚨 Deadline Jan 26!
